Cross Country

Last year I got 58th and this year I got 120.

At the start I while we where waiting I  had butterflies but as soon as we started I was ready to run but as soon as I finished I felt sick for about 30 seconds but then I felt fine.

As soon as the gun went we all started stampeding which was bad for some people because they got tripped/pushed over but for me and Hoani it was fun because we were just jumped in between people trying to get to the front. At as soon as we turned the corner to go down the frazer street hill everyone started to separated so we were able to go faster. When me, hoani and cooper  come to the field we started sprinting and I pasted 8 people.

A highlight for me was going down the big hill was the best part for me because It was easy running

I was inspired by hoani because he was my running buddy

Reading challenge 1

This is my last challenge is a Reading Challenge from the Academic Achievements category it includes joining and visiting your local Public Library regularly. Every time you visit, blog about one service the Library offers. Today I am going to blog about the internet service that is provided by the library unfortunately it comes at a small price which is $4 per hour or $1 per 15 minute block. If you want you can also bring a computer along and it will only cost $2 per hour.

40 Hour Famine

Last Weekend I participated in the 20 hour famine I successfully completed it and raised 62 dollars. This challenge included raising 40 dollars or more. Here is a link to my online 40 hour famine page: Kyle's 40 hour famine.

Problem Solving Trophy task

I have completed the Problem Solving Trophy Homework task this task fits into the Excellence in arts category. In this challenge you have to make a design for a maths problem solving trophy on google sketch up. Here is a photo of my design.

How to video

Success Criteria:

• Title
• Subtitles for each step of the method
• Voice overs for each step of the method
• your movie shows continuity (colours, subtitles and fonts are the same throughout)

I have completed all aspects of the Success Criteria

PMI

Positive: I completed it and I am pleased with the final product

Minus: It was really hard to trying to make a paper shuriken

Interesting: I learnt how to make a paper shuriken

I would make something easier next time 

Sports challenge

This is my 6th homework task it is another one from the physical and outdoors category. This task includes completing a hole season of sport. I am going to do this task on my rugby season. I play for Papamoa, so far we have played 3 games and won them all by big margines.

Egg Challenge

At school room 41 created a challenge we decided that this challenge fitted into giving category. This challenge includes creating an egg and keeping it with you where ever you go you must keep the egg un cracked for 1 whole week. I started this challenge on Tuesday afternoon so here is are some photo's of our days together
